The NGO Alustame Algusest was founded in 2006. The organization establishes lifelong learning frameworks for diverse age groups. Between 2006 and 2012, the NGO managed multiple entrepreneurship initiatives. These projects received funding from various Estonian foundations.
The organization integrated beekeeping education into its core operations in 2012. Strategic development expanded significantly after 2018.
International Cooperation and Erasmus+ Accreditation
The NGO secured Erasmus+ accreditation in 2022. This status guarantees five years of study mobility funding. The organization possesses an option to extend this window for two additional years.
Trainers participate in educational mobility across Europe. Key destinations so far have included:
- Baltic Region: Latvia and Lithuania.
- Central Europe: Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.
- Nordic Countries: Finland and Sweden.
- Western Europe: Germany and Slovenia.
Erasmus+ evaluators awarded the organization exceptional performance scores. The initiatives achieved a 97/100 rating in the first year. The second year achieved a 98/100 rating.
Additional international partnerships include:
- Nordic Collaboration: A joint project with Finnish and Swedish beekeepers (2021–2022).
- Slovakian Partnership: A two-year cooperation project with the Slovakian Beekeepers' Union (2022–2024).
The goal of the NGO Let's Start from the Beginning is to create a training center for those who are looking for new challenges in their lives, are ready to act creatively, and are always open to lifelong learning.
We organize trainings both independently and in cooperation with other organizations, using different learning methods.
We welcome those people who want to visit interesting places and acquire new wisdom.
We organize study trips for beekeepers and gardening and beekeeping enthusiasts, seniors, and all wonderful travel companions.
